5th grade students working on several art related concepts at once. Students learning what warm and cool colors are, how to transfer an image without the use of a light table, and how to paper weave. These students are really cranking out some beautiful artwork!

7th grade volleyball will travel to Marion Local on Thursday, Oct. 12 to play Minster at 5:30. 8th grade will play DSJ on at NK on Thursday, Oct. 12 at approximately 6:30.
HS Volleyball will play the winner of Marion Local and Temple Christian on Thursday, Oct. 19 at approximately 7:30.
Soccer will travel to Ottawa-Glandorf next Wednesday, Oct. 18 for a 5:00 start.
Tickets this year can be purchased online or at the gate. Gate prices are $10 for adult or student and tickets online are $8 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets online must be purchased at www.ohsaa.org/tickets. Volleyball is located under Region 16 Wapakoneta District. Soccer is located under Region 10 Kalida District.

Taking advantage of the nicer weather last week - K-6 PE started their soccer unit and have been working hard on skills and playing as a team. Then end of the unit will wrap up with a class tournament!

Working together as engineers, 3A created a rollercoaster with a goal of getting a marble in a plastic cup. Just as it is in real life, a great deal was learned from successes as well as from failures.
Math Models and Reasoning students did a great job of presenting their classroom remodel projects today! Neat to see them put their math knowledge to work and apply it to real life projects.
The 8th grade students are selling New Knoxville Happy Cheeks stadium cushions to raise money for their Washington D.C. field trip!! Order forms are due Oct. 11. These cushions will make great Christmas gifts and will be ready for basketball season!
Mr. Wierwille was the first student to buy teacher for the day in 1B! He did a great job keeping the students in line and making sure they worked quietly. He sure knew how to use his teacher voice! 🤪 Thank you Mr. Wierwille! 🤓
